Best for
- Side sleepers — highest comfort scores of anything we tested
- People with shoulder or hip pressure points
- Hybrid fans who want a cooler surface than foam
Skip it if
- You want a long trial — 100 nights is below par
- You are on a tight budget
- You share a bed and are sensitive to movement

Our verdict
Zoned support is usually a marketing line. On the Midnight Luxe it is measurable: shoulder-zone softening produced the best side-sleeping comfort scores of anything we tested this year, and the coils held lumbar alignment across the whole panel. The 100-night trial is the weak spot at this price.

Questions readers ask
- Is it good for back sleepers too?
- Yes — support scored 8.6. Side sleepers are where it stands out, but it is not a side-only bed.
- How does it compare to the Nectar Premier?
- Better for side sleepers and cooler on the surface; worse value and a much shorter trial. If you sleep on your back and want to spend less, the Nectar is the better buy.
How we tested
Tested over 30 nights by a five-person panel, with pressure-mapping and compression-cycle durability testing. Full methodology →
