Ecosa is worth a look if you specifically want a heavier silk specification. The current US page is clear that this is a 30-momme pillowcase, which separates it from the lighter models in the list. That number is a starting point, not a comfort score: more silk weight does not automatically mean the best temperature feel or the right fit for every person. The more consequential buying detail may be the restricted return policy.

The US product page lists Grade 6A mulberry silk in a charmeuse weave, silk on both sides and a 50 × 70 cm Standard size. Do not assume that “Standard” matches a US 20 × 26-inch case or a 20 × 30-inch Queen. Measure your actual pillow. The accessible specification does not clearly identify the fastening, so we leave the closure unconfirmed rather than infer it from a photograph.

Ecosa’s FAQ explicitly distinguishes the current 30-momme product from an older 25-momme version. Some online coverage and Australian owner comments concern other regions or generations. We have not treated those anecdotes as a measured US defect rate or used an old specification for this listing. We also have not conducted an independent temperature or wash-durability test of the current case.

The care instructions specify a cold, short, gentle wash with suitable mild detergent and air drying away from heat and sunlight. Tumble drying, bleach and disinfectants are excluded. A heavier silk specification does not remove the need for gentle care. If that routine is inconvenient, choose a material that better suits your laundry habits rather than expect the fabric weight to compensate.

The pillowcase FAQ makes an important exclusion: Ecosa’s 100-night trial does not apply, and the case cannot be returned for change of mind.
